Registration Fees, Transportation and Lodging

Unfortunately our limo service has retired and we are searching for another one that has better fares than the commercial services. We will post it here if/when we find one.
In the meantime the most affordable solution is probably to arrange for a one way rental car to a Venice/Nokomis based company and we will help you return it there or return to Sarasota International Airport and we can pick you up there (see below). If you like we will also give you the contact information for other students so you can "buddy up" and share expenses with each other.
Sarasota Airport Pickup:
Pick up at Sarasota International Airport will be done by Jetze or Marley. The cost is $20 per person each way any time between 11:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. on Monday and drop off Sunday morning to be determined by the group. (if you can not make that time frame contact Sue for a special Sarasota pick up for $40) If you are arriving in Sarasota, please send us your itinerary so we can communicate with you about your needs.

What, When, Where, and How
The instructors will be teaching and sharing ideas every step of the way. There will be formal demonstrations and informal “instructor time” for extra tips and experimenting. Plus lots of “me time” for students to practice or play. We can also visit the nearby beautiful Venice/Nokomis beaches and maybe a few local pubs and restaurants. Most BeadCamps are held during "high season" in our part of Florida so we have arranged a variety of lodging options. Please email or call us for details. Plan to come a day early (Monday) and leave Sunday morning.

Workshop: $995 (includes five days of instruction and open torch time every evening, three catered dinners, local transportation (you will not need a rental car) and more. Payment: half ($498) is due upon reservation and the remaining half ($497) is due two months prior to the workshop.
Some workshops have an additional fee due to high travel and visa costs for instructors from long distances.
For Astrid Riedel and Amanda Muddimer, please add $200 (total $1195). Full payment due at time of registration and refund for cancellation only if your spot fills.
(Glass is available at $1.00 per rod or bring your own; occasionally an instructor requires her/his own kit of special supplies at an additional cost.) With our five days of class plus open torch every evening it is impossible to include glass in our fees. You are welcome to ship glass and/or tools ahead of time and we will hold them for you. The studio is equipped with most of the tools you will need and we have some items for sale.
(There is a possibility that a workshop may not fill so be sure to check with us before you make your airline reservations too far in advanceto avoid costly cancellation fees from airlines.) We are not responsible for airfare costs or fees in any way.
Payment: For payment, just email us for a PayPal invoice at firstname.lastname@example.org. You do not need a PayPal account to use this feature. (If you don't have an account to use PayPal, just click "Pay Now", then click on "Continue", on the next page's bottom you'll see "Don't have a PayPal account", click there and then just fill in your credit card number and the other information and you will have paid without having an account.) PayPal is very secure. We also accept personal checks made out to BeadCamp.
Cancellations must be in writing either by regular mail or by email. Policy for workshops (except international instructors): payment will be refunded if cancellation notification is postmarked or email-dated two months prior to the workshop or earlier. Cancellations made later than two months prior to workshops will only be refunded when your spot is filled by another participant. A $50 cancellation fee will be charged on all refunds to cover credit card, PayPal and other administrative costs. We will not be held liable for any cost incurred by you, other than the amount paid towards the class fees and charged by us as outlined herein. This includes, but is not limited to, airline tickets, hotel accommodations, lost work, etc.
Please note that for all overseas instructors, there are no refunds at all unless we fill your spot with another student.
