PlayWeeks and Goodbye Parties 2018

  • Week One: February 12–17, Mon-Sat, (arrive 12, depart 18)
  • Week Two: February 19–24, Mon-Sat, (arrive 19, depart 25)
  • or stay over for both weeks and in between and leave Sunday,
(arrive 12 –depart 25). Additional days may be available.

Last year we had two wonderful PlayWeeks and will do so this year but with a bittersweet finality.

PlayWeeks will be similar to our regular BeadCamps but at less than half the price because they include lodging, breakfasts, a "Meet and Greet Dinner" and Goodbye Party, free local transportation and use of the studio! We can do this because we won't have instructors. But we will have each other!

It's a "sharefest" where a small group of artsy folks  (glass, metal, precious metal clay, or whatever) can work in their preferred media and have like minded people with whom to share ideas and techniques. Sort of like "Open Torch" but including other appropriate media that people want to share. AND a vacation on the "Cultural Coast" of SW Florida! Nokomis, Florida is on the Gulf of Mexico, a few miles south of Sarasota. Friends and family welcome too. There's other stuff they can do if they aren't interested in using the studio!

Yippee, fertile ground for creative exploration and an escape from cold weather if you live in colder climes!
